18 m of the Daryl Roth Theatre, 6 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Columns and cornice
The front has four slim columns under a decorated cornice. Print friendly adapts thin columns at small sizes, while Full detail on a larger print keeps the capitals.
- One piece with the ground
The Daryl Roth Theatre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Daryl Roth Theatre takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Daryl Roth Theatre
The Daryl Roth Theatre, an off-Broadway venue, sits at 101 East 15th Street, on the northeast corner where it meets Union Square East in Manhattan. The theater occupies the former Union Square Savings Bank, a four-story building by Henry Bacon put up in 1905-1907. The main auditorium has room for 300 people seated or 499 standing. The DR2 Theatre seats 99, and sits in a separate annex at 103 East 15th Street.
The bank began as a savings institution for merchants' clerks, founded in 1848, and took the name Union Square Savings Bank in 1904. It hired Henry Bacon to draw plans for a new building on the combined site of two demolished rowhouses. The final plans called for a granite-faced building measuring 52 by 125 feet (16 by 38 m), at a cost of $275,000. Building started in May 1906, and the bank opened on March 7, 1907.
Daryl Roth acquired the building in 1996 with plans to turn it into an off-Broadway venue, and the theater opened in 1998. The site is 52 feet (16 m) across on the Union Square side, with 125 feet (38 m) along 15th Street, and the building is 60 feet (18 m) tall. The main facade, facing Union Square, has a portico on four Corinthian columns, with a cornice above it. The building is a New York City landmark.
