Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Many gables and a chimney

The roofline is busy with steep gables, small dormers and a tall chimney. This is a small model, so print as large as you can with Full detail and 0.12 mm layers to keep those edges clean.

  2. One piece with the ground

Edgehill Church of Spuyten Duyvil is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Edgehill Church of Spuyten Duyvil takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Edgehill Church of Spuyten Duyvil

Spuyten Duyvil, in the Bronx, is home to Edgehill Church, once a United Church of Christ parish church, at 2570 Independence Avenue. Its congregation began in 1869 as a mission chapel tied to Riverdale Presbyterian Church, serving the workers of the Johnson Iron Foundry close by.

The architect Francis Kimball blended three styles in the design: Shingle style, Tudor Revival and Romanesque Revival. The church was built from 1888–1889. AIA Guide to New York City calls it a picturesque eclectic sanctuary. Louis Comfort Tiffany designed its stained glass windows.

By 1977 the congregation had shrunk dramatically, and plans for closing the church and making a community center of it were announced. A retired Methodist, the Rev. Dr. William A. Tieck, assumed the pastoral leadership and guided the congregation until he died in 1997. The city designated the building a landmark in 1980 as Riverdale Presbyterian Chapel; the National Register of Historic Places followed in 1982.
