Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Chimneys, porch and siding

This small house has tall chimneys, porch posts and fine siding lines. Full detail keeps them, but a bigger print size matters most here, and a 0.12 mm layer height keeps the siding crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Edward Hopper Birthplace and Boyhood Home is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Edward Hopper Birthplace and Boyhood Home takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Edward Hopper Birthplace and Boyhood Home

This house at 82 North Broadway in Nyack, in Rockland County, New York, is also called the Edward Hopper House Art Center. It is a two-story, mid-19th-century Greek Revival dwelling with a two-and-a-half-story Queen Anne addition.

John Smith, the artist's maternal grandfather, built the house in 1858. The noted artist Edward Hopper (1882–1967) lived here from birth until moving to Manhattan in 1910, and the title stayed in his name until he died. Hopper finished at Nyack High School in 1899, then commuted to New York City to study, first the New York School of Illustrating and then the New York School of Art.

The National Register of Historic Places listed the house in 2000. As an art center it has one gallery devoted to Hopper's life and work, other galleries for changing exhibits, and a program of workshops, lectures, jazz concerts and figure drawing classes.
