Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A broad block in plan

The building is wide and low in this model, so its outline carries the shape more than any single feature. Print it larger if your plate allows, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers for crisp edges.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Eisenhower Executive Office Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Eisenhower Executive Office Building takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Eisenhower Executive Office Building

This is a government building of the United States, inside the White House compound in the capital, Washington, D.C. Its rooms serve agencies that form the Executive Office of the President, among them the White House Office, the vice president's office, the National Security Council and the Office of Management and Budget. It opened in 1888, and 1999 brought a new name honoring Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th president and a five-star Army general who was an Allied commander in World War II.

The address is 17th Street NW, between Pennsylvania Avenue, State Place and West Executive Drive. President Ulysses S. Grant commissioned it, and work ran from 1871 to 1888 on ground that once held the White House stables and a War/State/Navy Building from 1800. Alfred B. Mullett, the Treasury Department's supervising architect, designed it in the French Second Empire manner. Its first job was to house staff of three cabinet departments, which is where the old name came from.

When the building was finished its elaborate design drew heavy criticism. Mark Twain called it "the ugliest building in America" and Harry S. Truman "the greatest monstrosity in America". Richard von Ezdorf designed much of the interior with fireproof cast-iron elements: great skylights above each main stairwell, and doorknobs cast with patterns that showed which of the three departments used a room. It has since been designated a National Historic Landmark.
