4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Pediment and chimney
The gabled front has a small triangular pediment, and a thin chimney rises beside it. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- Low, wide footprint
This is a low building, so the print stays small. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm keeps window rows and ledges crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Elmendorf Reformed Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Elmendorf Reformed Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Elmendorf Reformed Church
Elmendorf Reformed Church is a Reformed Church in America congregation in Harlem, Manhattan, on East 121st Street (number 171), between Third Avenue and Sylvan Court. It was formerly called the Elmendorf Chapel. The building began as a Sunday school and parish house serving the First Collegiate Church of Harlem, a body whose beginnings date to 1660, when it was the Harlem Reformed Dutch Church, Harlem's first house of worship.
In 1893-94 a parish house in the Neoclassical style, designed by Joseph Ireland, went up on this site, built under Rev. Joachim Elmendorf's auspices. Around 1910 the church standing then was demolished, and the parish house was reworked into Elmendorf Chapel, which later became Elmendorf Reformed Church. The congregation is the oldest in Harlem. Earlier sanctuaries, at various locations in the area, date from 1665-67 and 1686-87, then 1825 and 1897.
Two stories tall above a basement, the church is L-shaped in plan and occupies much of a lot 120 feet deep and 53 feet wide. Its National Register of Historic Places listing dates from 2010. In 2002, Patricia A. Singletary became the congregation's first female minister.
