148 m of the Eurotower (Frankfurt am Main), 40 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Clean edges on a tall block
A tall, plain tower shows layer lines on its flat faces. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers, print it larger if you can, and slow the top layers so the roofline stays sharp.
- One piece with the ground
The Eurotower (Frankfurt am Main) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Eurotower (Frankfurt am Main) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Eurotower (Frankfurt am Main)
The Eurotower is a skyscraper of 40 floors and 148 m (486 ft), set in Frankfurt's Innenstadt district, Germany. It stands at Willy-Brandt-Platz in the central business district known as the Bankenviertel, opposite the Opern- und Schauspielhaus Frankfurt. Right beside it are an underground U-Bahn station and a tram stop above ground.
Construction ran from 1971 to 1977. The Bank für Gemeinwirtschaft was its first main tenant. The European Monetary Institute, forerunner of the European Central Bank (founded in 1998), moved in later. The structure is reinforced concrete, and the façade combines aluminum and glass.
Until March 18, 2015, the European Central Bank (ECB) had its seat in the Eurotower; a new purpose-built building then took over. Staff of the ECB were also housed in the Eurotheum and at Neue Mainzer Straße 32–36 because space in the tower was limited. Work on the new tower started in 2008, with completion in late 2014.
About this model
The Eurotower (Frankfurt am Main) is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
