Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tall slender spire

The tower ends in a slim spire with a finial and cross. Print slowly with 0.12–0.16 mm layers and good cooling; Print friendly keeps the tip sturdy, while a larger print keeps more detail.

  2. One piece with the ground

The First Baptist Church of Tarrytown is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The First Baptist Church of Tarrytown takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the First Baptist Church of Tarrytown

In Tarrytown, New York, the First Baptist Church stands along South Broadway, which carries U.S. Route 9. Built of stone in the Victorian Gothic style, it dates to the 1870s. The congregation first met in the 1840s, and the first church on the site was erected in 1847. About twenty-five years after that, the congregation commissioned Russell Sturgis to design the existing building, which took five years to complete and has a detailed Gothic interior.

The church marked Tarrytown's growth into a suburb, notably after John D. Rockefeller and relatives came to the village and became members. They paid for later improvements, among them the landscaping and the rectory. Its walls are single-story bluestone laid in an ashlar pattern, trimmed with brownstone, under a gabled slate roof. A four-stage tower at the southwest corner turns octagonal at its third stage and ends in a slender slate spire with a copper finial and cross.

Inside, carved Honduran mahogany with Gothic details appears in the wainscoting, the exposed hammerbeam rafters and the organ screen. The rectory, south of the church, is a two-story Roman brick house under a hipped roof of red Vermont slate. The National Register of Historic Places added the church and rectory in 1983.
