  1. Tiny details at small sizes

This is a small model in a crowded block, so its fine details are tiny. Use Print friendly for compact prints, or Full detail at a larger print size to keep them.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Gertrude Rhinelander Waldo House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Gertrude Rhinelander Waldo House takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Gertrude Rhinelander Waldo House

The Rhinelander Mansion, also called 867 Madison Avenue, is formally the Gertrude Rhinelander Waldo House. It stands on the southeast corner at Madison Avenue and 72nd Street, in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Alexander Mackintosh of the firm Kimball & Thompson designed the French Renaissance Revival mansion, and it was built from 1894 to 1898. It was made for the heiress Gertrude Rhinelander Waldo, who never moved in.

The mansion rises four and a half stories. Its limestone facade takes a French château as its model. Shop windows were added to the ground story over the years, but the upper stories keep ornamental carvings and round-arched windows, and the red roof has stone and copper dormers. The original interiors are very poorly documented because the building was abandoned once finished, and little of the first plans and fittings remains.

She bought the site in 1882, yet did not build for over a decade. She refused, for unknown reasons, to move in, and she would not maintain, rent out or sell it. Ownership passed in 1912 to New York's Dime Savings Bank. Designer Ralph Lauren leased the building in 1984, and it reopened in 1986 as his company's flagship store. The city has designated it a landmark, and it is also in the National Register of Historic Places.
