8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Roof turrets
Small turrets and fine trim sit on the roofline. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail on a larger print keeps more, and a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Granada Towers is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Granada Towers takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Granada Towers
An apartment building of historic standing, Granada Towers sits in Long Beach, Nassau County, New York. It is a 1929 design in the Spanish Revival style. The building comprises three towers joined together, each seven stories high, and its National Register of Historic Places listing came in 1984.
The walls are laid in orange-brown brick, and terra cotta and stucco supply the trim. At the entry stand terra cotta pilasters, whose shafts are spindle-shaped and whose capitals are of the composite order. Together, brick, terra cotta and stucco make up the building's exterior materials.
