About Green Valley Ranch
The Green Valley Ranch resort, a hotel with a casino, sits inside the community of the same name in Henderson, Nevada. American Nevada Corporation first proposed it and won city approval in 1996. The company also intended a mixed-use project alongside it. Work began in 2000, once American Nevada had teamed up with Station Casinos to co-own and operate the property.
Some nearby homeowners were concerned about the impact, and the company held more than 30 meetings with residents. The company had planned a hotel tower 250 feet high, but after residents complained about its height, plans shrank it to 80 feet. On December 18, 2001, the resort opened, with 201 rooms and a casino of 4,600 m2 (50,000 sq ft). It cost $300 million, which made it the costliest casino aimed at locals in Las Vegas history.
A mixed-use project called The District at Green Valley Ranch opened on adjacent property in 2004. A hotel expansion in 2005 raised the room count to 497, and Station took full ownership in June 2011. The resort also has various restaurants, a movie theater and a spa.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 800 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 9 mm | 1:5,000 |
| 200 mm | 11 mm | 1:4,000 |
| 256 mm | 14 mm | 1:3,125 |

West
- Wide, low complex
- The resort spreads out as a long, low group of blocks with a hotel wing. A larger print size keeps the small rooftop boxes and balcony lines readable.
- Landscaped grounds
- Green landscaping and curving roads sit beside the building. Layers of 0.12-0.16 mm keep thin road edges clean.
- One piece with the ground
- Green Valley Ranch is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Green Valley Ranch takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Green Valley Ranch is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Green Valley Ranch STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Green Valley Ranch grows with the print: about 9 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
