About World Market Center Las Vegas - Expo and Garage
World Market Center Las Vegas, in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, is a complex of furniture showrooms serving sellers and buyers at home and abroad. Its four buildings hold 490,000 m2 (5.3 million square feet) of space on a site of 23 ha (57 acres). Proposed in 2001, the project saw its first building open on July 25, 2005. Later openings came in January 2007, then in July 2008, and again in April 2021.
Furniture Mart Enterprises broke ground on March 21, 2003. Jerde Partnership International designed Building A with JMA Architecture Studios, and its facade has a swooping arc of reflective metal panels that recalls a half-moon or a happy face. The first event there, the Las Vegas Market trade show, was held in Building A. Building B opened on January 29, 2007, and Building C, also designed by JMA, followed on July 28, 2008, with a seven-level parking garage directly to its north.
At World Market Center, the Expo is a facility of 29,300 m2 (315,000 sq ft) that connects to Building C. With limited acreage, much of it was built inside the garage's first floor. Ed Vance & Associates Architects designed it, and Penta Building Group built it. Its topping out came on December 19, 2019. It was finished the following year, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed its opening until April 9, 2021. It cost $103 million.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Thin posts on the roof decks
- Rows of thin posts stand on the garage roof deck. Print friendly adapts thin parts like these to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print.
- Stacked floor edges
- The garage sides are made of many fine horizontal floor edges. A layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and a larger print size keep those lines crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- World Market Center Las Vegas - Expo and Garage is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. World Market Center Las Vegas - Expo and Garage takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
