Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Carved facade and arches

The front shows rows of arched openings and rough stone texture. Full detail keeps them at larger sizes; Print friendly smooths the smallest ones. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm keeps the arches crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Hamilton Grange Library is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Hamilton Grange Library takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Hamilton Grange Library

Hamilton Grange Library is a New York Public Library branch in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan. McKim, Mead & White designed it, and it was built in 1905-1906. Of the 65 branches the library built with money from the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, it is one, and McKim, Mead & White designed 11 of them.

Its three stories and five bays are clad in deeply rusticated gray limestone, in Italian Renaissance style. Round arched openings mark the first floor, along with bronze lamps and grilles. The city designated it a landmark in 1970, and in 1981 it entered the National Register of Historic Places.
