About Harmon Corner
Harmon Corner is a shopping mall with three stories, fully enclosed, in Paradise, Nevada. It occupies the northeast corner where South Las Vegas Boulevard meets Harmon Avenue, along the Las Vegas Strip. The mall opened its doors in 2012 after construction that started in February 2011. The mall has 10,236.4 m² (110,184 sq ft) of space. Its restaurants are varied, and a two-story Walgreens serves as the anchor. SH Architecture designed it, with Penta Building Group as general contractor.
In February 2010, the development group BPS Partners paid $25 million to Clark County, Nevada, for a vacant parcel of 2.17 acres (0.88 ha). The resorts Planet Hollywood, Cosmopolitan and CityCenter are nearby, which led to the choice of the site, along a stretch where an estimated 80,000 people on foot pass daily. The project aimed at environmental friendliness and energy efficiency and used recycled building materials. In 2013 an upgrade brought it a Silver certification under Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, granted by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Its signature feature is a video billboard made of LEDs, 60 feet in height and 306 feet in width. On becoming operational in 2012, it held the title of largest LED screen in the world. The sign, 27 times the size of an average highway billboard, was meant to echo a similar one in New York's Times Square.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 10 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 12 mm | 1:3,000 |

- A tall, thin screen wall
- The giant screen is a thin curved wall braced from behind by slim diagonal struts. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- Curved bands of storefronts
- The low floors curve in narrow bands with fine frames. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the curves smooth and the lines crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- Harmon Corner is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Harmon Corner takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Harmon Corner is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Harmon Corner STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Harmon Corner grows with the print: about 10 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
