7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Dense window grid
The facade is a tight, repeating grid of windows under a detailed cornice. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail on a larger print keeps more of the pattern.
- One piece with the ground
The Hertlein and Schlatter Silk Trimmings Factory is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Hertlein and Schlatter Silk Trimmings Factory takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Hertlein and Schlatter Silk Trimmings Factory
Mott Haven, a section of the Bronx in New York, holds the Hertlein and Schlatter Silk Trimmings Factory, a historic factory building. The original building went up in 1887 and was expanded in 1892 and again in 1910–1911. The five-story brick structure measures 14 bays in length.
A six-story extension was added in 1904–1905. The factory originally housed a supplier of silk trimmings. Following 1935, the Hygrade Casket Corporation was its occupant, and it stayed there until about 1982. Both the original building and the extension then stood vacant until a restoration in 1999–2000 prepared them for residential and commercial use. The National Register of Historic Places listed the factory in 2001.
