About Hilton Grand Vacations Club - The Boulevard

The Hilton Grand Vacations Club timeshare property sits in Winchester, Nevada, at the Strip's northern end. From 1941 until it burned down in 1960, a hotel and casino called El Rancho Vegas stood on this land. Until 2001 the ground stayed empty; then Hilton Grand Vacations bought a portion of it and started on a timeshare tower of 28 stories.

The September 11 attacks led to a postponement of construction, since tourism had fallen and the finances of Hilton Hotels Corporation's hotels suffered. Work picked up again in 2002, and the first tower opened in February 2004, holding its grand opening on February 4. It has a desert deco design and 283 units, and it cost $128 million to build. A second tower of 38 stories began construction in September 2004 and was completed in 2006, with 431 timeshare units. MBH Architects designed both towers, which contain 714 units between them.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Two tall, slim towers
The two towers are tall and slim, so printing slowly with good cooling helps them stay clean. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the grids of windows crisp.
Thin legs under the canopy
A small canopy at the base stands on thin legs. Print friendly adapts thin parts like these to the print scale, while Full detail keeps them on larger prints or with a fine nozzle.
One piece with the ground
Hilton Grand Vacations Club - The Boulevard is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hilton Grand Vacations Club - The Boulevard takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
