About Cannery Casino and Hotel

Boyd Gaming owns and runs Cannery Casino and Hotel, a casino in North Las Vegas, Nevada, aimed at locals. The property has a casino of 7,336.3 m2 (78,967 sq ft) and a hotel of three stories with 201 rooms. Cannery Casino Resorts developed it for $105 million, and it opened on January 2, 2003.

The theme comes from a 1940s cannery in the years after World War II, with architectural touches including industrial beams and columns of exposed metal. A smokestack 120 feet tall rises on the exterior. A brewery theme was considered before the final design took shape.

The casino debuted at 4,600 m2 (50,000 square feet) and held 21 table games and 1,278 slot machines. Four restaurants served guests, among them a buffet seating 360 and a cafe open 24 hours. The Club, a multi-purpose events center, opened with it; its indoor venue of 650 m2 (7,000 sq ft) opens onto a courtyard of 2,300 m2 (25,000 sq ft). A $40 million expansion from 2004 to 2006 added casino space and a movie theater, and Boyd acquired the Cannery in 2016 through its purchase of Cannery Casino Resorts.

How it prints

Slim smokestack
A slim smokestack rises above the roof. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail keeps it. Printing slowly and using a larger print size help a tall thin part stay intact.
Roof lettering and entry gate
The name is spelled out in lettering on the roof, beside a gateway of beams and columns at the entrance. Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print.
One piece with the ground
Cannery Casino and Hotel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Cannery Casino and Hotel takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
