10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Large dome and lantern
The big dome has a small lantern on top, and the dome ribs are shallow. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- Decorated front with round window
The front has a round window and small arches. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Holy Trinity Church, Upper West Side is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Holy Trinity Church, Upper West Side takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Holy Trinity Church, Upper West Side
Holy Trinity serves as a Roman Catholic parish church of the New York archdiocese. Find it at 213 West 82nd Street, close to Amsterdam Avenue, in Manhattan's Upper West Side. The parish was established in 1898, and Joseph Hubert McGuire drew the plans for the church, which was built between 1910 and 1912.
A dome of Guastavino tile crowns the church. According to Frederick D. Taylor, it was built on purpose in the Byzantine style, which was unusual for its time, and it has been counted among the very best examples of Byzantine architecture in the country. The church is made of brick and terra cotta, and it was dedicated on May 11, 1912.
