102 m of Hotel Kazakhstan, 29 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall tower, thin layers
A tall tower prints best slowly, so each layer can cool. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps fine vertical detail crisp, and a larger print keeps small details.
- One piece with the ground
Hotel Kazakhstan is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hotel Kazakhstan takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Hotel Kazakhstan
Hotel Kazakhstan ranks third among the tallest buildings in Almaty, at 102 m (335 ft). It stands on Dostyq Avenue, a major road on the city's east side that runs from Medeu to Panfilov Park. Erected in 1977, it is described as a famous landmark and a symbol of Almaty, and it ranks eighth-tallest in all of Kazakhstan.
The tower was built in a seismic zone rated at 9 points, and it was designed to withstand a 9.0 earthquake on the Richter scale. Its structure rests on a monolithic reinforced concrete core braced by transverse concrete diaphragms. The ellipse-shaped volume stands out, and a curved canopy with a big overhang marks the central entrance. A vertical row of bay windows rises to a high attic shaped like a golden crown.
Finishes for the facades and interiors include marble, granite and shell rock, among other materials. In the lobby, a tapestry measuring 34 m (112 ft), The Rainbow of Kazakhstan, hung from the hotel's first day. A public garden named Friendship borders the hotel grounds. In 2016 the building was included on a list of the city's historical and cultural monuments.
About this model
Hotel Kazakhstan is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
