Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Curved rows of seating

The grandstand is a wide curve of many small, repeated rows. Print friendly simplifies them for small prints; Full detail keeps every row on a larger print, with layer height around 0.12–0.16 mm.

  2. One piece with the ground

Jones Beach Theater is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Jones Beach Theater takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Jones Beach Theater

Jones Beach Theater is an outdoor amphitheater that stands partly over the water of Zachs Bay, in Jones Beach State Park at Wantagh, New York. It is counted among three major outdoor arenas serving the New York area. Its design followed specifications from Robert Moses, the creator of the state park.

Work began in 1949 on the site of an earlier Depression-era marine stadium, which had been torn down in 1945. Dredging removed sand between the seats and the stage to bring back the water gap of the old marine theater, and the plans included a tunnel under the water between the theater and backstage. Its June 1952 opening came under the name New Jones Beach Marine Stadium, with 8,200 seats.

A 1991 and 1992 renovation added a second level and lifted capacity to 11,200 seats, and a 1998 expansion brought it to 15,000. In October 2012 Hurricane Sandy damaged the theater severely, and it reopened on May 31, 2013, following a $20 million rehabilitation. Another renovation in January 2017 brought LED lighting, extra cafes and bigger concourses.
