Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Small corner turrets

The model has small ornamented turrets at the roof corners. Use Print friendly unless you print larger, where Full detail keeps every turret.

  2. Tiny at default size

A building this small leaves very fine detail at a default print. Choose a larger print size, and a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm, to keep the ornament crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Karaite Kenesa (Kyiv) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Karaite Kenesa (Kyiv) takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Karaite Kenesa (Kyiv)

At Yaroslaviv Val Street 7 in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi District, near the Golden Gates, stands a former Karaite Jewish synagogue, known as a kenesa. The Polish architect Władysław Horodecki designed it, and it went up between 1898 and 1902 in Moorish Revival style. The Italian sculptor Emilio Sala made the stucco decorations, working in cement, which was a costly material at the time.

The synagogue was paid for by Solomon and Moses Kogen, who were known as tobacco kings, at a price of 200,000 Empire rubles. Solomon Kogen died in 1900 and left funds in his will to finish the building, and his brother Moses carried on the work. The consecration took place on January 27, 1902.

In Soviet times the building passed to educational institutions, which helped preserve its unique interiors. Later it housed a puppet theater and, from 1952, a cinema. A contemporary wing was added in the 1970s, and in 1981 it was turned into the Ukrainian House of Actors. The building has national monument status in Ukraine, under the category Architectural Heritage of National Importance.
