4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 1650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Small details on a wide building
A terminal building spreads out wide, with small details along its edges. A larger print size keeps those details, and Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale.
- One piece with the ground
Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 1 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 1 takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 1
Kempegowda International Airport is the airport for Bengaluru, which is the capital city of Karnataka, an Indian state. It stands near the suburb of Devanahalli, roughly 35 km (22 mi) to the north of the city, and is named for Kempe Gowda I, who founded Bengaluru. It opened in May 2008 to offer an alternative to HAL Airport, the city's first commercial airport, which was getting more congested. Its two passenger terminals both handle domestic and international operations.
Building work began on July 2, 2005, and took 32 months. Air India Flight 609 from Mumbai, the first commercial flight, landed at 10:40PM on May 23, a day ahead of the official inauguration. In India, it was the third greenfield airport opened under a public–private partnership, following Cochin International Airport in Kochi, then Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. It was first called 'Bengaluru International Airport' and was renamed on December 14, 2013.
A first phase of expansion ran from June 2011 until December 2013. It enlarged the passenger terminal to twice its former size, 150,556 square meters (1,620,570 sq ft), with more space for baggage reclaim, security, immigration and check-in. A broad, sweeping roof ties the original building to the extension. The enlarged terminal was dubbed "Terminal 1A" and raised the airport's capacity to 25 million passengers per annum.
