Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Corner tower and chimneys

The pointed corner tower and the tall chimneys are the thinnest parts. Print slowly with cooling, and use 0.12-0.16 mm layers so the tower tip stays sharp.

  2. Veranda railings

The verandas have fine railings and posts. Print friendly adapts them at small sizes; Full detail on a larger print keeps more of the pattern.

  3. One piece with the ground

Kreischer House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Kreischer House takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Kreischer House

In Charleston, on Staten Island, stands Kreischer House, which is also called the Kreischer Mansion. The German immigrant Balthasar Kreischer built it about 1885 as a large home built in the American Queen Anne style, with a wood frame, two and a half stories high and an asymmetrical massing.

The rectangular house has a corner tower and tall chimneys, along with spacious verandas, gables edged with jigsaw bargeboards, and railings, posts and brackets used as decoration. Kreischer built two mansions for his sons; the one that survives belonged to Edward Kreischer, and the other to his brother Charles.

The National Register of Historic Places listed the house in 1982, and it has a New York City landmark designation from 1968. It has been a filming location for television shows including Boardwalk Empire, and local stories have given it a supernatural reputation.
