Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Rooftop boxes and notch

Small boxes stand on the roof, which has a notch cut into it. Print friendly adapts the small boxes to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  2. Rows of window frames

Many window frames and horizontal bands cover the walls. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Life Savers Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Life Savers Building takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Life Savers Building

In Port Chester, New York, the Life Savers Building is a historic industrial and commercial building on North Main Street, between Horton Avenue and Wilkins Avenue. Construction dates to 1920, with an expansion in 1948–1949. The five-story structure uses reinforced concrete, brick and terra cotta, and Lockwood, Greene & Co. is listed as its architect.

The Life Savers Candy Company made its candy in the building and had its headquarters there until 1984. In its peak years in the 1960s, the factory turned out up to 616 million rolls of the candy each year. Oversized replicas of Life Savers rolls once marked the foundation line but have since been removed. In 1985 the building joined the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1989 it became a condominium complex.
