Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Corner tower and roof details

A pyramid-roofed tower and small dormers add small, sharp roof details. Print friendly adapts the thin tips; Full detail on a larger print keeps their edges.

  2. Many small windows

Grids of small windows cover the walls. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Lord & Burnham Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Lord & Burnham Building takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Lord & Burnham Building

Irvington, New York, is home to the Lord & Burnham Building, where Main Street meets Astor Street. It is built of brick in the Queen Anne style and dates to the 1880s. The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 1999, and in 2014 it was made a contributing property of the Irvington Historic District.

Starting in 1870, the site was home to Lord's Horticultural Works, which made boilers and conservatories. The firm had moved to Irvington in order to serve better its main clients, the many owners of Hudson Valley estates. After a fire destroyed the first building, the present one replaced it. As Lord & Burnham, the company kept going until 1988.

The former factory sits on a lot of 0.8 acre (3,200 m2), and Astor Street separates it from the village's train station. The main block, once the company's offices, has a mansard roof clad in tin shingles and a corner tower with a pyramidal roof. The building has since been adapted to house condominium apartments as well as the village's public library.
