About Marriott's Grand Chateau
Marriott Vacation Club manages Marriott's Grand Chateau, a timeshare resort in Paradise, Nevada, close to the Las Vegas Strip. The 38-story tower has three wings and 643 suites. Guests can use a gym, two swimming pools and three bars. The resort occupies a 3.5-acre site, and Polo Towers, another timeshare complex, is its neighbor.
Before the resort, a nightclub occupied the site. It opened in 1978 under the name Jubilation, took the name Shark Club in 1988, and shut in 1996. Grand Casinos held an option on the land and several neighboring parcels by 1997, intending a major casino. Then, in 2000, Lakes Gaming, a company Grand Casinos split off in 1998, announced a $700-million hotel project without gaming, partnering with local developer Brett Torino.
Diamond Resorts International, which owned Polo Towers next door, announced The Chateau in February 2002. Marriott Vacation Club took over Lakes's stake in the project, land included, in June 2003. The tower was built in phases, and its first wing opened in October 2005. Work on the third wing started in 2012, and its structure reached full height a year later.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 31 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 38 mm | 1:3,000 |

- Decorated crown and trim
- Ornate trim and small corner turrets run along the top of the tower. Print friendly adapts the fine trim to the print scale, while Full detail keeps every modeled feature for a larger print.
- Long window rows
- Rows of windows rise the full height of the tower. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the vertical lines crisp, and a larger print size keeps them distinct.
- One piece with the ground
- Marriott's Grand Chateau is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Marriott's Grand Chateau takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Marriott's Grand Chateau is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Marriott's Grand Chateau STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Marriott's Grand Chateau grows with the print: about 31 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
