About Railroad Pass Casino

Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino is in Henderson, Nevada, and is named for Railroad Pass nearby. The property occupies the far southeast corner of Henderson, adjoining the northwest part of Boulder City. Boulder Highway (US 93/US 95) runs past it, and the River Mountains Loop Trail begins beside the casino. Highways 93 and 95 once met right in front of the property; the interchange joining the two routes was built about a mile east of there, in Boulder City.

Opening day was August 1, 1931. The Railroad Pass Club became the state's third licensed casino. It was popular with the construction workers on Boulder Dam, those living in Boulder City, a town that banned alcohol and gambling. Bob Verchota bought it in 1975 and started modernizing. He sold it in 1985 to David Belding, William Richardson and Michael Ensign, who also owned the nearby Gold Strike Casino, and it joined Gold Strike Resorts. Construction of a five-story hotel with 120 rooms started in 1986. It opened on January 8, 1987, which made Railroad Pass the first hotel in Henderson with over 100 rooms.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes

Many small rooftop units
The flat roof carries many small boxes and vents. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; a larger print size keeps more of them.
Angled many-sided front
The building's outline has several angled corners and a lettered entrance. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the angles and edges crisp.
One piece with the ground
Railroad Pass Casino is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Railroad Pass Casino takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions

Is there a Railroad Pass Casino STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Railroad Pass Casino grows with the print: about 4 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
