Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A narrow, decorated front
The church front is narrow and sits beside much taller buildings, so most of its detail is on one face. A larger print keeps the small decorative parts, and Full detail keeps every modeled feature.
- One piece with the ground
The Metropolitan Community Church of New York is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Metropolitan Community Church of New York takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Metropolitan Community Church of New York
MCCNY, short for Metropolitan Community Church of New York, is an LGBTQ Christian church in the city. Its home is 446 36th Street, which sits between Ninth and Tenth Avenue. That puts it in Hell's Kitchen, a neighborhood on Manhattan's West Side. The church welcomes people of all sexual orientations, though it mainly serves the LGBT community.
Reverend Troy Perry started the church in Los Angeles in 1968. Four years later its location changed to New York, and it used the address of the Lesbian and Gay Services Center from 1983 to 1994. In 1994 it moved to West 36th Street. It is affiliated with Metropolitan Community Church, a worldwide fellowship of churches, and it publishes a newsletter titled The Query.
MCCNY Charities runs a food pantry named for Sylvia Rivera, which offers hot meals and groceries on several days each week. It also operates Sylvia's Place, a homeless youth service where young people can stay as residents for up to 90 days while they build safety and connections to long-term housing.
