11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slender spire and cross
The corner bell tower ends in a thin spire topped by a small cross. Print friendly adapts the tip to the print scale; Full detail keeps it for larger prints. Print slowly for a clean point.
- Dormers and tall narrow windows
Small dormers break up the long roof, and the walls carry tall, narrow arched windows. A larger print size and a layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep these details crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Most Holy Trinity Church, Mamaroneck is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Most Holy Trinity Church, Mamaroneck takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Most Holy Trinity Church, Mamaroneck
Most Holy Trinity Church, a historic Roman Catholic church, stands along the Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck, New York. Its parish, Most Holy Trinity-Saint Vito, is Latin rite and sits in the Archdiocese of New York. The church began as St. Thomas, built in 1867 as a mission of New Rochelle's Blessed Sacrament Church, and it became a parish in 1874. Rev. Thomas McLaughlin, its founder, visited Mamaroneck once a month by wagon.
Rev. Isidore Meister, one of the early pastors, led the effort of building a new stone church, and parishioners helped collect and save money for it. It was completed in 1886, and Archbishop Corrigan dedicated it on Sunday, August 15, 1886. The architect was N. J. O'Connor. The masons used Blue Byram stone and brown stone. Later pastors added a school, a convent, a rectory and a gymnasium.
Stained glass windows are what the church is known for. Above the altar, The Holy Trinity appears at the center, flanked by saints, including Athanasius, Jerome, Augustine and Ambrose on the left. Windows at roof level show scenes such as the Sermon on the Mount, the Nativity and Jesus healing the sick.
