Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slim pinnacles on the front
Four slim pinnacles flank the front gable, which holds a large pointed window. Print friendly adapts the pinnacles; Full detail keeps them on larger prints. Print slowly.
- One piece with the ground
Mother African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Mother African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Mother African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church
Known as "Mother Zion", this church at 140–148 West 137th Street in Harlem, Manhattan, sits between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. It is New York City's oldest African-American church and the "mother church" for the Zion conference. In 1796 African-American members of John Street Methodist Church, which was predominantly white, formed the congregation. Its founding bishop was James Varick. New York City designated the church a Landmark on July 13, 1993.
The building went up between 1923 and 1925, designed by George W. Foster Jr., among the earliest registered African-American architects in the nation. The style is neo-Gothic, with a "simple facade". The sanctuary has an auditorium layout, with seats in a wide curve around the altar and pulpit and a wide balcony above. Seating capacity is about 1000. It is the sixth building to house the congregation.
