9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Carved front and side faces
The south and west faces are covered in arches, pilasters and window trim. Full detail with 0.12 mm layers keeps this relief crisp; Print friendly suits a smaller print.
- Chimneys on the roofline
Slim chimney stacks rise above the roof edge. Print slowly with good cooling so the thin tops stay sharp.
- One piece with the ground
The Mount Morris Bank Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Mount Morris Bank Building takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Mount Morris Bank Building
The Mount Morris Bank Building is a historic building in East Harlem, Manhattan, also called the Corn Exchange Bank or the Corn Exchange Building. Its address is 81-85 East 125th Street, at the northwest corner where it meets Park Avenue. Lamb & Rich designed it, drawing on Queen Anne and Richardson Romanesque styles.
The bank was organized in December 1880, as Harlem shifted from suburb to urban residential neighborhood. Its new building was chosen by competition. Construction began on April 3, 1883 and finished on February 1, 1884. The bank took the main floor, with six apartments on four floors above and an attic.
By the late 1970s the building stood empty, and it stayed that way for three decades, vandalized and decaying. For safety, the city tore down most of what a 1997 fire had left, in 2009. A developer took on rebuilding it for commercial use in 2012, and it reopened in May 2015. The National Register of Historic Places added it in 1989, and it gained New York City Landmark status in 1993.
