13 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Ornate facade and mansard roof
This small corner house has a decorated facade and a mansard roof. Full detail keeps them on a larger print; Print friendly adapts the smallest ornament to a small print.
- One piece with the ground
The Neue Galerie New York is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Neue Galerie New York takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Neue Galerie New York
The Neue Galerie New York (the German name means "New Gallery") focuses on German and Austrian art and design from the early twentieth century. It occupies the William Starr Miller House, where Fifth Avenue meets 86th Street on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Founded in 2001, it is among the latest additions to Museum Mile along Fifth Avenue.
Art dealer Serge Sabarsky and businessman and collector Ronald S. Lauder first conceived the museum. The two had met in 1967. After Sabarsky died in 1996, Lauder took up the project to honor his friend, and the doors opened in November 2001. Austrian work fills the second floor, with paintings by Egon Schiele, Oskar Kokoschka and Gustav Klimt, while the third floor shows German work from movements such as Der Blaue Reiter, Die Brücke and the Bauhaus.
The building is a Louis XIII/Beaux-Arts structure that Selldorf Architects renovated and converted into a museum. Exhibition space totals 4,300 square feet, and the building can hold at most 375 people. It also has two Viennese cafés, Café Fledermaus and Café Sabarsky, along with a bookstore and a design shop. In 2006, Lauder bought Klimt's Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I for the museum; the press reported a price of US$135 million, which at that time would have been the highest ever paid for a painting.
