3 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A small plaza structure
Only a small entrance structure shows above ground in this model, tucked beside much taller towers. A larger print keeps it readable, and a layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm keeps its edges crisp.
- One piece with the ground
New World Stages is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. New World Stages takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About New World Stages
New World Stages is an Off-Broadway complex of five theaters in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen. It lies beneath the plaza of Worldwide Plaza, between 49th and 50th Streets, at Eighth Avenue. The whole underground complex covers 5,690 m2 (61,300 square feet) and is as long as an entire city block.
The third Madison Square Garden once occupied this ground, and the complex was first built as a Loews Cineplex multiplex cinema. In June 1989 the multiplex, called Worldwide Cinemas, opened under the Cineplex Odeon Corporation. Dodger Stage Holding Theatricals leased it in 2002 to turn its six screens into five Off-Broadway stages, and it reopened as Dodger Stages in 2004 after major renovations. Beyer Blinder Belle were the architects, Sachs Morgan the theater designers and Klara Zieglerova the interior designer. On March 16, 2006, it took the name New World Stages.
The stages differ in size: Stages 1 and 3 seat up to 499 each, Stages 2 and 4 up to 350 each, and Stage 5 up to 199. Seat counts in that range make it an Off-Broadway complex. It has also hosted shows that had earlier played Broadway, among them Avenue Q, The 39 Steps and Jersey Boys, and its theaters and lobby can be used for events such as conferences and readings.
About this model
New World Stages is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
