The renders show a tall central tower with a domed cupola and small turrets, set in a long building with stepped gables. Print slowly with good cooling, and use Print friendly if the turrets are too fine at small sizes.
- One piece with the ground
Newtown High School, Queens is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

About Newtown High School, Queens
Newtown High School sits in Elmhurst, a Queens neighborhood in New York City, and fills an entire block between 48th and 50th Avenues and between 90th and 91st Streets. The school dates from 1897, on ground that had held a little wooden schoolhouse since 1866, built for the children of Newtown and nearby farms.
C. B. J. Snyder designed the present building between 1917 and 1921 in a Flemish Renaissance Revival style. The choice of style reflected Snyder's awareness that New York, and Elmhurst in particular, began as a Dutch colony. Only a handful of the city's public schools share this style. Snyder's design carried on the stepped gables of the earlier school and adds a 169-foot tower at the center, crowned with a cupola and turrets. The school's slogan, "We Tower Above the Rest," comes from that tower.
Later additions came in 1930–1931 and 1956–1958. Walter C. Martin designed two three-story wings that are similar in style but less ornate, clad in buff and beige brick with limestone detailing. The Snyder wings combine beige and buff brick with limestone, glazed terra cotta and ceramic tile. The city has designated the building a landmark.
