10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Three corner towers
The corner towers are the tallest, most slender parts of the model. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps the tower windows and is better at a larger size.
- One piece with the ground
Next Step Community Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Next Step Community Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Next Step Community Church
Next Step Community Church is a non-denominational evangelical Christian congregation in a historic Brooklyn building. Its address is 360 Schermerhorn Street and Third Avenue. Construction ran from 1893 to 1894 in the Romanesque Revival style; after a fire, the building was rebuilt in 1917–1918. The exterior has a brownstone base, and the superstructure is faced in brick with a subtle texture and brownstone trim. It has three corner towers and a large rose window. The architects credited are Weary & Kramer and Dodge & Morrison.
Edward Morris Bowman served as the first organist and choirmaster of the church, and he directed a large chorus and orchestra from 1894 to 1906 that gained a national reputation. The historic pipe organ was being restored over several years when it was seriously damaged by a three-alarm fire on July 7, 2010. Its National Register of Historic Places entry of 1995 was under the name Baptist Temple, and in 2022 it became nondenominational and took its new name.
