6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Low, wide station
The station is a low, wide building, so its details are small at model scale. A larger print keeps them legible, and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the vertical edges crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Ochanomizu Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Ochanomizu Station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Ochanomizu Station
Ochanomizu Station is a railway station serving Tokyo, Japan, run by JR East, the East Japan Railway Company, and by Tokyo Metro. It sits across the boundary of two special wards, Chiyoda and Bunkyō, with the JR station in the first and the subway station in the second. The Chūō Main Line, the Sōbu Main Line and the Marunouchi Line serve it, and passengers can change to Shin-ochanomizu Station on the Chiyoda Line.
The JR East station opened on December 31, 1904; the Tokyo Metro station followed on January 20, 1954, under the Teito Rapid Transit Authority. Two island platforms and four tracks make up the JR side, with Chūō Line trains on the outer pair and the Chūō-Sōbu Line on the inner pair. The subway part has two side platforms for two tracks.
The JR station lies in Chiyoda ward, on the south side of the Kanda River. The river was diverted through Ochanomizu in the Edo period, when the district was still elevated ground between two valleys; Hijiribashi (Hijiri Bridge) spans the water near a station exit. The Marunouchi Line briefly runs above ground over the water. The Holy Resurrection Cathedral (Nicholai-dō) is a short walk from the Hijiribashi Exit, and the area has many guitar and instrument shops.
