Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Twin towers and rose window

Two square towers with pyramid roofs flank the gabled front, which has a round window and arched doors. A slow print helps the tower tops; Full detail keeps the front relief on larger prints.

  2. Long nave with tall windows

The nave is long, with a row of tall arched windows and small dormers. Print friendly adapts these to your scale; 0.12-0.16 mm layers keep the window rows clean.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bronx is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bronx

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a Roman Catholic parish church of the Archdiocese of New York, stands three blocks south of Fordham University in the Bronx, on the corner formed by Belmont Avenue and East 187th Street, in the Fordham neighborhood. The parish began in about June 1906, when a store was converted into a chapel, after Italians living near 183rd Street and Pelham Avenue petitioned for a mission.

Late in 1906, Father Burke purchased seven lots at 187th Street and Belmont Avenue for $21,000, and Archbishop Farley laid the church's cornerstone on June 29, 1907. The basement, with 750 seats, opened on December 25, 1907. The upper church, with 500 seats, opened on December 8, 1912, and was dedicated in 1917.

The congregation grew fast. About 150 people attended the mission at first. By the end of 1907 the parish counted 1,134 adults and 150 children, and by 1914 it had 2,500 adults and a Sunday school with 800 children. Msgr. Joseph Caffuzzi was the first pastor, serving from 1906 until 1931. A parish school stands on Bathgate Avenue.
