Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Ribbed sides that narrow upward

Fine vertical ribs run up a tower that narrows toward the top. Print slowly with good cooling, and use a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm to keep the ribs crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

Park Avenue Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Park Avenue Tower takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Park Avenue Tower

Park Avenue Tower, also known as 65 East 55th Street, stands between 55th and 56th streets on Park Avenue, in Midtown Manhattan. Park Tower Realty developed this office building, which opened in 1986 and stands 561 feet (171 m) high, with seventeen elevators serving its 36 floors.

Murphy/Jahn Architects designed the tower in a postmodern style, using stone, steel and glass. Each floor is square in plan with the corners flattened, and the tower gets narrower toward the top. Atop the roof sits a pyramid-shaped structure that cannot be seen from the street.

Six polished granite planters furnish a public space, privately owned, in front of the 55th Street main entrance. Visitors can use four entrances: three on 55th Street and one on 56th Street. Two of them, the 56th Street door and the middle 55th Street door, open into a multi-story lobby, and its walls are granite and marble.
