Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Print the mosque larger

This mosque prints low at the default size. A larger print helps the roofline and facade detail stay distinct; Print friendly adapts fine parts to the scale.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque

The Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque where Ordu Street crosses Atatürk Boulevard in Aksaray, Istanbul. It was built for Pertevniyal Sultan, consort of Sultan Mahmud II and the mother of Sultan Abdülaziz. Work started in November 1869 and was finished in 1871. It is counted among the last Ottoman-era mosques built in Istanbul.

The design mixes Turkish Rococo with classical Ottoman work along with Moroccan, Gothic, Renaissance and Empire elements, a blend that some found garish. The prayer hall is a square 10 m by 10 m room under a single dome carried on a tall, 12-sided drum. Its east, west and south facades have turrets and triangular pediments with two rows of three windows.

Inside, much of the decoration is blue, with blind niches, muqarnas, arch motifs and arabesques, plus floral designs with Chinese influence. The mihrab and minbar are plain marble. Pertevniyal Sultan died in 1883 and was buried in the mosque. After numerous roadworks, the building sits below the surrounding street level.
