Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Ornate tower cresting
The tower roof carries fine iron cresting along its top, one of the finest details on this model. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; use Full detail on a larger print to keep the cresting visible.
- One piece with the ground
Public School 71K, Brooklyn is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Public School 71K, Brooklyn takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Public School 71K, Brooklyn
Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, New York City, is where Public School 71K stands, a historic school building. Architect James W. Naughton designed it, and it was built in 1888–1889. It houses the Beis Rochel School, a private school for girls only.
Three stories high and symmetrical, the building has brick walls with stone trim and follows the French Second Empire style. A central tower rises above it, with a high mansard roof and iron cresting that is original. The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 1982. The school has an exact twin elsewhere in Brooklyn: at 225 Patchen Ave in Bedford-Stuyvesant, the Excellence Charter School.
