  1. Ornate front, notched roofline

The front is covered in arches, panels and window trim, and the roof has an open notch. Full detail with 0.12 mm layers keeps the relief crisp on a larger print.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Red House, Upper West Side is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Red House, Upper West Side takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Red House, Upper West Side

Manhattan's Upper West Side is home to the Red House, an apartment building from 1903. It stands on land owned by R. Thomas Short, a Canadian architect of Harde & Short, a Beaux-Arts firm. His firm both designed and built it, using motifs from French late Gothic and from English Renaissance design in a free, eclectic mix.

Red brick and limestone form the walls, set off by bold black-painted mullions in the windows. A salamander badge of Henri II sits at the top of the flanking wings and also in the frieze of the portico. The center is recessed behind a screen of three arches. The National Register of Historic Places added the building on September 8, 1983.
