Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A domed lantern and small spires

The crown ends in a small domed lantern with slender spires. Print slowly with good cooling and layers of 0.12 mm so the top stays crisp; Print friendly adapts the thinnest spires on a small print.

  2. Stepped wings with window rows

Lower wings step down from the tower, and rows of small windows run across them. A larger print keeps the window detail distinct.

  3. One piece with the ground

River House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. River House takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About River House

A co-op apartment building, River House has the address 435 East 52nd Street and a rear entrance on East 53rd Street, in Manhattan's Sutton Place neighborhood. Built in 1931 where a cigar factory once stood, the 26-story building has William Lawrence Bottomley as its architect, and its style is Art Deco.

Originally, the building had a pier for residents' yachts, lost when the FDR Drive went in. The building was planned for cooperative ownership and offered 78 apartments, described as having twelve rooms, six baths and two fireplaces. A gated cobblestone courtyard with a fountain stands at the building.

The River Club, a private club, leases parts of the lower levels. It was the first such club with well-known members to admit women as well as men. Facilities included a ballroom, tennis courts, a swimming pool and a terrace over the East River.
