Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Dormers, chimneys and roof details

Several small dormers and slim chimneys sit on the roof. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  2. Round bays and porch

Rounded bays and porch railings add fine detail. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Robert Colgate House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Robert Colgate House takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Robert Colgate House

Stonehurst, formally the Robert Colgate House, is a historic home in the Bronx's Hudson Hill neighborhood, in New York City. Around 1860, it was built as a picturesque Italianate villa, two stories high, in ashlar Maine granite. The villa was commissioned by Robert Colgate (1812-1885), who was a son of the pioneer soap manufacturer William Colgate.

The roof is low-pitched and dormered, with broad eaves around a flat deck. Colgate bought the land from Ann Cromwell in 1860, and it had earlier belonged to William G. Ackerman. A meeting in Colgate's house in 1863 led to the organizing of the Riverdale Presbyterian Church. The National Register of Historic Places listed the house in 1983.
