3 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Porch columns and rooftop cupola
Slim porch columns and a small cupola with a finial are the thinnest parts. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
Roslyn House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Roslyn House takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Roslyn House
Roslyn House is a historic hotel, and it also goes by the name Eastman House. It sits in Roslyn Heights, Nassau County, New York, on County Road 7, known as Roslyn Road. It is a two-story building in the Italianate style, constructed around 1870.
The structure is rectangular and five bays wide, built of wood frame with clapboard siding on a brick foundation, under a hipped roof. A second-story porch wraps the front and south sides, resting on Doric order columns. The Town of North Hempstead designated Roslyn House a landmark on March 7, 1989, and the National Register of Historic Places added it on June 7, 1990.
