3 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Paired columns on the portico
The portico has paired columns, which are thin and close together. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail on a larger print keeps more of them.
- Tall arched windows
The long side has tall arched windows between plain wall sections. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the arches crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Roslyn National Bank and Trust Company Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Roslyn National Bank and Trust Company Building takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Roslyn National Bank and Trust Company Building
Roslyn, an incorporated village in Nassau County, New York, is the site of this historic commercial building. Architect William Bunker Tubby designed it, and it was built in 1931 as the new headquarters of Roslyn National Bank and Trust Company.
It occupies the northeast corner where Old Northern Boulevard meets Remsen Avenue. The one-story rectangular brick building has a flat roof and a modified Classical Revival style. Its three-bay front facade has a wooden portico of the Tuscan order with paired columns.
In 1951 the bank moved its headquarters to a new location in nearby Flower Hill. Next came a Nassau County health organization, the Tuberculosis and Public Health Association, and later a men’s clothing store. Both state and national historic registers listed the building in 1986: the New York State Register and the National Register.
