Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Dome and rooftop details

The domed roof is the finest part of this model. Print friendly adapts its small details to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  2. Small church among tall buildings

The church is compact next to its taller neighbors. A bigger print size and a layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm help the dome and facade stay crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Saint George Ukrainian Catholic Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Saint George Ukrainian Catholic Church takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Saint George Ukrainian Catholic Church

Saint George Ukrainian Catholic Church is a Ukrainian Greek Catholic church in Manhattan's East Village, where 7th Street meets Taras Shevchenko Place. The East Village Historic District wraps around the church and the neighboring St. George Academy without including them. For over 100 years, the parish has been a spiritual, political and cultural center for successive groups of Ukrainian Americans in the city.

Ukrainian liturgy was first held in the city in the lower level of St. Brigid's, a Roman Catholic church, a few blocks away. In 1905 the community bought the Colgate Chapel at 332 East 20th Street and converted it for Byzantine style services. By 1911 it needed more room and bought the Bowery Village Church, built in 1840 as the Seventh Street Methodist Episcopal Church. That building was demolished in 1976 to make room for parking beside the new church. The present church went up from 1976 to 1978, designed by the architect Apollinaire Osadca, who described his plans as based on the ancient Ukrainian Byzantine style that had survived in Ukraine.
