8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Pointed Gothic details
Small pointed details top the front of the church. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, best on a larger print.
- Fine detail on a small building
A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps fine vertical detail crisp on a small church among tall neighbors.
- One piece with the ground
Saint Luke's Lutheran Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Saint Luke's Lutheran Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Saint Luke's Lutheran Church
Between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, at 308 West 46th Street, stands Saint Luke's Lutheran Church, a historic Lutheran church on Restaurant Row in Manhattan's Theater District. Edward L. Tilton of Tilton & Githens designed it, and it was built in 1922–23. Francis Xavier Zettler designed the windows in the facade of the nave.
Its architecture has been called a happy marriage of Gothic Revival and Art Deco. A four-story parish house, built in 1922 on the same street, was designed by the architect Francis Keally. The cornerstone went in during October 1922, and the dedication followed in September 1923.
The congregation began in 1850 as a Dutch Reformed group, gathering in rooms rented on a building's third floor, and reorganized as Lutheran in 1853. It moved several times before building on West 46th Street, and the National Register of Historic Places listed the church in 2007. In 1987 it had affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
