  1. A long, low station

The station is a long, low building at model scale. Print it larger to keep the platform edges and roofline crisp, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers; Full detail keeps the finest features.

  2. One piece with the ground

Sakuragichō Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Sakuragichō Station takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Sakuragichō Station

Sakuragichō is a railway station in Naka-ku, Yokohama, where JR East meets the Yokohama Municipal Subway's Blue Line. The JR East station has three tracks and two elevated island platforms, and a staffed ticket office sits next to the South gate. The Blue Line platforms are four levels below ground, south of the main station.

The station opened on June 12, 1872, as the original Yokohama Station, at the start of provisional service between Shinagawa and Yokohama. A second Yokohama Station opened near Takashimachō in 1915, and this station was renamed Sakuragichō on August 15 of that year. The Tokyu Tōyoko Line ended its runs here in 2004, having used the station as its terminus since 1932.

Yokohama Landmark Tower and the Minato Mirai 21 district are close by. North of the station, the Yokohama Air Cabin ropeway links it to Unga Park; Yokohama Cosmo World and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse stand nearby. Three sets of ticket barriers serve passengers: the North and South gates have entrances on both the east and west sides, and the New South gate sits at the platforms' far southern end.
