4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A low, broad station complex
At print scale the station reads as a low, broad block, so roof and facade detail shrinks first. Print it larger, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers for crisp edges.
- One piece with the ground
Yokohama Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Yokohama Station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Yokohama Station
Yokohama Station is a large interchange station in Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Japan, and the busiest station in Kanagawa Prefecture. JR East runs the Tokaido Main Line, the Shōnan-Shinjuku Line, the Yokosuka Line, the Yokohama Line, the Keihin-Tohoku Line and the Negishi Line. Keikyū, Sagami Railway, Tokyu Corporation, the Yokohama Minatomirai Railway and the Yokohama Municipal Subway also serve the station.
The station spreads over several levels. JR East and Keikyū platforms sit in the main above-ground part, with Keikyū using platforms 1 and 2 and JR East platforms 3 to 10. Tokyu and the Minatomirai line share an underground station on the fifth basement level, west of the JR platforms, while the municipal subway runs on the third basement level. Sagami Railway runs above ground west of the main station and connects to the Sotetsu Department Store.
The Tokaido Shinkansen does not serve Yokohama; it passes through Shin-Yokohama Station instead. The Sunrise Izumo and Sunrise Seto sleepers call there so passengers can board or leave, while the Morning Wing and Evening Wing services pass the station. Keikyū introduced station numbering in 2010 and gave the station the number KK37.
About this model
Yokohama Station is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
