  1. A small house in a dense city

This small house sits within a dense city model, so its details are tiny. A larger print and Full detail keep more of the small details, while Print friendly suits small prints.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Samuel Tredwell Skidmore House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Samuel Tredwell Skidmore House takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Samuel Tredwell Skidmore House

The Samuel Tredwell Skidmore House stands on the north side of East Fourth Street, between Lafayette Street and the Bowery, in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. Merchant Samuel Tredwell Skidmore was the client for this Greek Revival house of three and a half stories. New York City has designated it a landmark, and the National Register of Historic Places lists it too.

T. Thomas & Son developed the house, building from 1844 to 1845, on land that had been part of John Jacob Astor's estate. Skidmore's death came in 1881, and two years later his widow sold the property. In the 20th century the interiors were divided into apartments, then the house fell into disrepair, and a renovation followed in 2010.

The brick house rises three full stories over a raised basement, which has a rusticated facade, and the front is divided into three bays. A stoop leads to the main entrance, a doorway flanked by Ionic columns. The lot is deep and narrow: 25.75 feet (7.85 m) wide at the street and 82 feet (25 m) deep. Inside, the floor area totals 9,620 square feet (894 m2), divided into 10 apartments.
