Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Church roofline details

A Baroque church can have small decorative parts along its roofline. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps every modeled feature on larger prints, where a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps them crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

San Ferdinando (church), Naples is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. San Ferdinando (church), Naples takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About San Ferdinando (church), Naples

In the center of Naples, Italy, close to the Royal Palace of Naples, San Ferdinando is a historic church on the Piazza Triesti e Trento. The Jesuits dedicated the original church on the site, built in 1636, to Saint Francis Xavier. Cosimo Fanzago was entrusted with its reconstruction in the mid 1650s.

In 1767 the Jesuits were expelled from the realm, and the church passed to the Constantinian Order of Saint George. The order dedicated it to Saint Ferdinand III of Castile, who was the patron saint of Ferdinand IV, the reigning king of Naples at that time.

Inside, a fresco by Paolo De Matteis on the vault recounts the history of Saint Francis Xavier along with other Jesuits. The church holds statues by Giuseppe Sanmartino and Domenico Antonio Vaccaro. Its main altarpiece is a canvas of San Ferdinando by Federico Maldarelli.
